Abstract:

ADAPTOR (Automatic DAta Parallelism TranslatOR) is a public domain compilation system developed at the SCAI institute of FhG, Germany. The latest version does not only compile HPF programs but also OpenMP Fortran programs.

This manual describes how to write efficiently parallel programs in OpenMP by uing ADAPTOR. It explains some important issues that should be considered to get good performance out of OpenMP programs with ADAPTOR.
